I Can Hear Them Hating Me

I feel so horrible calling this piece that, because that actually was a very sad and powerful line when this character said it, despite how corny it sounds.

Anyway, here is Raziel from Angel Sanctuary/Tenshi Kinryouku. He and Mika-chan, being my favorite characters, and also being shafted (though not without good reason) from the (terrible) OVA made of the series, got fanart drawn of them. I don't really... do fanart. But I did for them. Mika-chan is drawn in a very much more cartoony style (its in my gallery if you want to look for the picture of him), and Raziel, though cell-shaded, is in quite a different style... I wanted to draw him sort of realistically, and so I was going for what a 15-17 year old "girly" boy would actually look like (forgetting of course that he's probably around... 13-15). I'm not really sure... if I'm happy with this style yet. His face wasn't drawn from a model, but it was inspired by a guy in one of my classes. I always thought he looked like what Raziel should, but I ended up twisting his face away from Raziel-esque when I drew this picture. Ah well.

By the way, he's supposed to be feeling his pulse (with the wrong fingers? He's sort of a dipshit sometimes).

I want to see more fanart of this character; he's underappreciated! If you have some of him, leave me a note or comment here or something~
