Here are the new and improved character designs for the main characters (so far) of
MY WEBCOMIC, which is now BACK FROM THE DEAD and FUNCTIONAL (well not so much the latter; the site only has one page up so far, but it'll be up tomorrow!). I decided that I wanted them to look a little different, so this is what I came up with. Eruune's face is really shitty, but I'm not changing it. These are pictures I drew for the layout, so check out the site (link above) and watch them
(Seiraa isn't up yet on the layout because I'm putting up the characters after they've made their formal appearance--Onyx Lily and Columbine will have pictures someday, too!)
Left to Right: Seiraa, Lotus, Eruune
Seiraa:
old character design (WARNING: old and crappy picture!) was fine in most respects, but I hated the collar and I wanted a long sheet instead of a scarf for dramatic effect
Lotus:
the old outfit (WARNING: another old and weird picture!) just wasn't kicking enough ass. It was bland and it made Lotus bland. More ass-kickage was needed, and thusly gotten. Darkened hair because I'm sick of shiny blondes.
Eruune: this one's the same as
the old outfit on a basic level, but I added some more interest and changed around the colors. His hair got tweaked a bit, too, and so did his face kinda'.

Okay, I'll admit it, I love everything about those outfits.
Um... you seem to want critique. I can't say much about the design/concept as it is simply F*ING AWSOME!
I can say, however, that Lotus' hand looks a tad on the small side (if it's supposed to be that way, you may begin beating me with a stick whenever you please.)

This is beautiful - I really enjoy seeing your work now and comparing it to your old stuff. So much improvement, it's amazing! Of course, this is another for my fav list. ^^
