So I'm currently in the middle of coloring this piece and I say to myself: Luke, you need a break. So, I decide to think of something that I never draw, and color it in a fast, clean style (cell shading). So I go: what don't I draw? I pick the first few random things that popped up in my mind:

  • Girls
  • Bikinis
  • Toes
  • Ganguro
  • Sandals
  • Travel Brochures

    Here is the final product (the surfer guy was wearing sandals, but then he got positioned behind the ganguro chick). It's the front of a fold-out travel brochure for Ishigaki (in the Yaeyama Islands), which is where the exchange students were from and where ~ miaki, ~squidlarkin, ~Rushifa, ~ thewrathofkahn, ~caseycasey and I went over the summer. I didn't actually make the brochure, don't worry. I just did this front part. The photo in the background is from this site, and it's of Ishigaki.

    The slogan for CS Travel Guides should be "Visit beautiful Yaeyama--Where Everyone's Ganguro!" but it's not. It's just "Discover Yaeyama"

    you draw her wrists really strange. me think syou should not draw bone poking out on both sides, just the outer.
