Here is an interesting piece of my character, Columbine--at the beginning of the story, and at the end of it. The original picture has Columbine from the beginning (tattoos), and the flipped version is him at the end (doves). It's sort of a spoiler, but since I won't say how he ended up that way, it's not too bad

I know the porportions suck ass. I was trying to get him to look his age (12~14), and I realized that my style makes everyone look about that age... but I wanted him to look younger than everyone (except Eruune... because they're about the same age), so he just looks *weird* I know his arm is too short (I won't specify which one; it's easy to see as it is...), and there are countless other things that bother me to hell about this picture. Coloring took from 11:08am to 4:58pm today... and I've been drawing the picture for a while... but not longer than that, I think! Background is a photograph I took on Iriomote-Jima, Okinawa, which was messed with with the computer.

I'll like this picture alot more tomorrow... now I'm just angry because it didn't turn out at all how I had planned it. But I guess I really am proud... sort of. I like it, but it really isn't exactly what I had wanted... at all. The dove-Columbine's head looks too big, and the angry-Columbine's body looks too small. I wish I had fixed some of that before I'd started coloring it!!

I wanted the dragon-spell to be really bright and beautiful, but it just ended up looking kinda weird... and the reflection of it on his skin doesn't look right; it just looks like he's been drowned. I really liked the hand that's covered up with the spell--the hand is clenched as opposed to the dove-Columbine's, and I thought that looked cool. Unfortunately, the spell crapped that up >>;

Well! Enough bitching about this piece--I don't really hate it, I swear!

i read all ur comic so far and i really love the characters they are so well drawn ( v v pretty) and its very unusual story aswell. I love the expressions in this picture as well and i look forward to cing him in the comic!

lol! Good thing you didn't because my friends and I at school were talking about how people get offended by "swear words" but they're really just words... so we decided that "food" was the new f-word. It would have totally psyched me out if you had said that, lol XD
