It's so wierd to see this redone! Your painting has definately improved over the years, which is saying something when you consider that you were still veyr good at it back then. I really like the shading...it looks just way more "shiny" now, lol.

wooow...this is so gorgeous *A* I looove the lips and how succulent they are! I really, really LOVE the hair and how you've made the creases in the face much deeper and clearer than the original picture. The skin looks so realistic and the hair is so soft and touchable. This picture is absolutely beautiful!!

Wow, I'm totally madly in love with this piece! I love how it's sideways and so off center... being nonconventional like that sure makes it interesting. He reminds me of an angel...

Thanks! The painting is a little high concept, especially in reference to the title, and was supposed to give a feeling of "fallen angel" or something to that extent: "After Michael"... fell from grace? The concept was pretty vague in the painting (which if I re-did it now, I would change) because it was mostly a sort of secret reference to a friend of mine, Mikael

Hehe, well, you certainly did an awsome job of conveying an angel-like feeling without it being too obvious.... I didn't even read the title! I'm kind of angel obsessed, though, so maybe I just see angels in everything....
